Welcome to the Physics Homepage. Here are some documents that you will need this semester.

1. Syllabus | Planner | Equation Sheet
Physics Syllabus (updated 01 Sep 11)

Period 3 Planner (updated: 23 Jan 12)
Period 4 Planner (updated: 23 Jan 12)

Semester 2 Equation Sheet (updated 12 Jan 11)

2. FAQs
  • How do I earn back my personal points?
You can come at lunch to earn back your personal points. You will earn back the last amount that you lost on your last "offense". For instance, if you lost 10 points on your last "offense", then you will earn back 10 points, if you lost 80 points on your last "offense", then you will earn back 80 points. Be sure to check daily schedule at thecubscientist.com home page for Lew Jug dates.

  • Are tests open book?
Tests are not open book, but you may use a clean equation sheet (see link above) on all tests and quizzes.

Step 1. Find Homework Assignment
WebAssign login  video
Institution: loyolahs.ca

Step 2. Follow Homework Format
a. Complete WebAssign Problems online and submit by due date
b. Complete Problems 6-10 in HW notebook for every assignment in "Given, Find, Solution" (aka "GIFS") format and turn in on due date (if late will be 1/2 off)
c. Homework Grading
    Correct WebAssign Problems 1 thru 20 = 100 points
Problems 6-10 completed using GIFS format = 100 points (if not late)
d. Points lost on homework problems (except for late 6-10 problems) can be made up by attending Physics Café at lunch and correctly completing using GIFS format

Step 3. Quantitative Problems Solving Examples on LewTube
